Science Fairs and MakerSpaces
Main Image
Did you know Philo Farnsworth designed his first television for a high-school science project? Today, the emphasis on STEM has made science fairs and MakerSpaces popular in schools. Even if science fair season has already passed, Scholastic GO! provides support with everything from projects and experiments to information on scientists and fields such as robotics, astronomy, computers, and woodworking to keep students busy (and making) all year round. Students will find complete instructions for How to Make a Marionette, How to Build Van Leeuwenhoek's Microscope, and more. Who knows, the next Farnsworth could be in your school or library!
